Five of the largest U.S. recalls filed with NHTSA in September cover 1,061,380 vehicles:
2 Jeep recalls, Ford F-150, Volkswagen and Audi SUVs, and Rivian.
The detail worth knowing: a recall notice is not a repair. Volkswagen's owner letters are expected on 10 November.
For Ford's August Mustang recall, NHTSA's record puts the remedy in March 2027.
And the Jeep Grand Cherokee recall is the third for the same rear-spring fault.
